FR Ep #302 How to Gain Financial Literacy with Marci Grossman January 15, 2023 Finances by Gina Today on Feminine Roadmap guest Marci Grossman gives us strategies on how to gain financial literacy. Marci is a CPA and Financial Literacy educator who believes that everyone can understand and master their money. In this episode she shares simple strategies to help you gain not only financial literacy but financial confidence. Since finances are not a life skill that is taught in school, she saw the need for finances to be taught in a simple and accessible way. While money is often a huge stressor in relationships, she believes that as we learn to communicate our ideas about money, we can virtually eliminate that issue. She does address how our beliefs around money are a big piece of that puzzle. For most of us, our money story began in childhood as we watched (or heard) our parents deal with money. We picked those ideas up, interpreted them and carried them well into our adulthood. If our experiences were stressful and limiting or joyful and abundant, they influence how we feel about money. Marci reminds listeners that money is just a tool and by talking openly about finances, sharing our beliefs and working toward a common financial goal with our partner, we relieve the stress. Often wealth means different things to different people so by laying everything out, goals, income, assets and liabilities, we begin to see where we are so we can plan where we are going. If you could use a little support, encouragement and helpful strategies, look no further. Grab a cuppa something wonderful and join us.RESOURCES:https://www.moneymarci.com/TikTok: @marcigrossmanFacebook: Money MarciInstagram: @money.marciTwitter: Miss Marci GLinked-in: Marci-GrossmanMusic by http://www.bensound.com https://api.spreaker.com/v2/episodes/51907384/download.mp3Podcast: Play in new window | DownloadSubscribe: RSSShare this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Like this:Like Loading...
