Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about midlife fitness and nutrition with health and fitness coach Cam Oyler.
Cam brings a holistic approach to our midlife challenges with our changing bodies. She encourages listeners to slow down, become curious and learn to listen to their bodies. She says, “Your body isn’t failing you, it’s communicating with you.” As our bodies change it’s important that we develop the ability to understand our body’s language.
Some of the ways that we can begin to do that is by paying attention to key areas of our habits. First is the quality and consistency of our sleep. Next is to recognize the rhythms of our moods and energy throughout the day, making note of high and low points. Food is another area that can be telling us something through our hunger and craving patterns.
