Today on Feminine Roadmap let’s talk about hunger with Dr. Gia Marson.
Dr. Gia encourages listeners to allow ourselves to be hungry for all sorts of things not just food. This is a powerful conversation about healthy hunger- not just for food but for the things we desire in our lives, our relationships and in our environments. It’s about learning to feel that hunger in a healthy, life affirming way.
Midlife is often a time of reckoning, asking ourselves questions about how we’ve lived our lives, what we’ve done, what we haven’t done and what do we want to do now. Dr. Gia believes that many people try to shut down what they want out of fear and external shaming messages that take over our lives.
The beauty of this process is that we do have the ability to ask those questions and allow ourselves to hunger in a healthy way, to live a life that is intentionally curated for joy. We can connect to what feels good, what resonates with who we are now and what actually supports the best version of ourselves. The shackles of the past can be shed and we can change how we hunger, what we hunger for and the way the flows into our lives.
Dr. Gia invites us all to take a step back, be honest and reframe this conversation in a way that fully supports a life well lived. Grab a cuppa something wonderful and join us! Please remember to subscribe, rate and share this conversation. Thank you!
