This week on Feminine Roadmap Gina is checking in on our mental health. For today’s conversation we are talking about our state of emotional and psychological well-being where we can use our emotional capabilities and function in society while meeting the ordinary demands of everyday life.
In the world we’ve all been living in since 2020, everyday life has been very different on many levels leaving us feeling overwhelmed. Our lives are an accumulation of the experiences we’ve gone through both psychological and emotional. The overall health of those past experiences impacts our current life, relationships and mental state especially where trauma is involved.
Gina encourages listeners with strategies to help us regulate our emotions during stressful times. Identifying our emotional triggers enables us to make better choices in the moment so we don’t continue to abandon ourselves. When we haven’t learned healthy coping skills we often choose harmful, unhealthy ways to insulate or protect ourselves.
If you or a friend find yourself feeling overwhelmed, struggling with stress, or need help with healthy strategies to break harmful cycles then press play. Grab a cuppa something wonderful, a good friend and listen to this short, encouraging episode. Please subscribe and share!
