On today’s episode of Feminine Roadmap, Donna introduces us to her friend and personal trainer Jojo. Joanne (Jojo) Livolsi has been in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years, and is currently employed as a personal trainer at The Claremont Club, Claremont California. Joanne works with all populations and specializes in working with women entering perimenopause or menopause. Abs are Made in the Kitchen has been born from JoJo’s own experiences from her personal physical journey as a woman in midlife. You aren’t going crazy, you really are experiencing changes in your body shape, mind frame and get up and go but JoJo encourages us that it doesn’t have to be our fate. She shares simple fitness tips that women in their middle years can easily apply and see real results in our bodies, moods, and energy levels. In midlife our bodies begin to change in ways we can see and in ways we can’t see, changes externally in skin texture, muscle tone, strength, and stamina; internally our bodies are changing in hormone levels, bone density, and mental clarity. The good news is that we do have resources to help us to partner with the aging process and live a more full, healthy life. If you want to learn how abs are made in the kitchen and other great fitness truths, grab a cuppa something wonderful and tune in to get back in the driver seat of your health and fitness.
